Barefoot Rascals
Barefoot Rascals is a Welsh Indie that is both genuinely Welsh - based between Cardiff and west Wales ‐ and genuinely independent ‐ no parent company. While that’s great for those exciting new broadcaster quotas(!), we believe our stories and content can, and should, hold their own, quota or not.
While our roots are in Wales, our stories and business agreements are often global ‐ from the US to Asia, from Argentina to South Africa, and every step closer to home. We have a development deal with an international distributor based in Australia and have worked on trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific co-productions.
Our films have been commissioned by the BBC, ITV, S4C, A+E Networks, National Geographic and Flame.
Our content is screened on Netflix, Animal Planet, Sky Pick and 23 other broadcasters around the world. It has been watched from Australia to Norway, from China to Iran, from Africa to Latin America and most places in between.
